New Layout

One main goal of any successful parking lot design is to provide the most stalls possible for the most functionality.

The straight-in design (90°) allows maximum stall capacity; however, for a variety of reasons, angled stalls (45°, 60° or 75°) may be preferred. Straight-in stalls are easiest to lay out and stripe and permit two-way traffic. Angled stalls, on the other hand, are easier for drivers to turn into and back out of, and typically require a narrower lane. They also provide a controlled one-way traffic flow and create a herringbone design that many owners find appealing.

General rule of thumb: The greater the angle, the more space used.
